Terms & Conditions
By booking a workshop with Art Class Brisbane, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please keep in mind, this is not a big corporate business—Katie is a working artist mentoring the next generation of creatives.
Bookings & Payments
- All bookings are made strictly on a term basis. You are enrolling for the full term program, not paying class by class.
- All workshop bookings are completely non-transferable.
- Once booked, your spot in the workshop is fully locked in and cannot be transferred to another person, date, or alternative program.
Refunds & Absences
- No refunds will be issued once a registration payment has been finalized.
- No make-up classes are available for any missed workshops.
- If you or your child are unable to attend a booked class, your booking for that specific session will be forfeited.
- In the unlikely event that Art Class Brisbane must cancel a class due to illness, you will receive a refund for the cancelled session only.
Holidays & Scheduling
- Art Class Brisbane workshops and programs may run as planned during school holidays and public holiday dates.
- By completing your booking, you accept that sessions will go ahead during these holiday periods if scheduled on our calendar.
Studio Space Parameters
- We have limited waiting space in and around the studio area. We do not encourage parents to stay, as it can get busy when creating!
- Parents are not permitted to wait in the main studio room, but are welcome to use the waiting area to support if needed.
- Birthday Parties: A maximum limit of 2 adults only may stay inside the studio room during parties.
Studio Behaviour & Expectations
These are group classes—there is a firm expectation to protect the creative experience for everyone.
Three-Strike Framework
Should a student display behaviour that cannot be safely or constructively managed in a group setting, they will be removed from the program and remaining fees refunded. We operate on a 3-chance threshold—instant removal occurs on the 3rd strike.
Immediate Collection
Should a student severely misbehave or cause disruptions during an active session, parents will be required to collect them immediately. The fee for that specific session will be forfeited entirely.
Neurodiversity Support
Please note that being neurodivergent is not a pass for unsafe or disruptive behaviour. We love hosting diverse minds, but everyone must follow the studio environment parameters safely.
Support Staff Policies
To ensure students focus on their training independently, NDIS support people are not admitted into the main studio room. They are warmly welcome to wait in the waiting area to assist when and if needed.
