Artist Mentoring Ages 8-12 years

Mixed-Media Art | Wednesdays only - 10 students only per term

Give your young artist the space to create, experiment and grow in a supportive studio environment. Each term, students explore a mix of drawing, painting, collage, sculpture and creative play, guided by professional artist and educator Katie McErlean.

Classes are small, welcoming and designed to build confidence, skill and imagination in every child.

Although I firmly believe all art is therapy, I am not an art therapist, so if you are in the NDIS system these classes may only be rebated as social participation. 

 Important Information & Terms

Please respectfully read the Terms & Conditions before enrolling:

• These are group classes.
  If your child finds group learning challenging or requires one-on-one support, private lessons may be a better option.
• Please notify Katie before classes begin if your child has any processing, behavioural, sensory, attention or emotional-regulation needs.
  This ensures the best group fit and a positive environment for everyone.
• Makeup Classes Policy
  There are no makeup classes for student absences.
  If Art Class Brisbane must cancel a session, a makeup class will be offered within that same term, with options on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
• Katie’s priority is always the wellbeing and success of the entire group, creating a calm, creative and inclusive studio environment.
